June 2, 2011 - Charlie Leaves WKM After more than two years with Northern New Jersey-based WILL KILLMORE, drummer Charlie Corletta has decided to leave the band citing personal and creative differences. The following personal statement was issued by Charlie: "I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone including the boys in WKM for a lifetime of memories and experiences that I will cherish forever. It has been a unbelievable journey being a part of a band that in my opinion is one of the best new metal bands out there today. I say that with confidence because I see and dealt with just how much passion, time and sacrifice has gone into this band. At this time I wish I could say I'm kidding but the truth is I will no longer be continuing my musical career with Will Killmore. I'm still perusing music professionally and plan on remaining active with other music projects. I will carry out my musical obligations to the band and our fans by performing three more shows this summer. Details for those shows will be made available at Willkillmore.com shortly. This will be a nice way to close a chapter of my life on a positive note. Again, thank you James, Joe, Brian, and Steve for making a dream come true! You have proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that with enough balls, imagination, and ambition five strangers could create an unstoppable force. I wish you all the best of luck and look forward to the remaining three gigs." The band will be holding auditions for a permeant drummer at their studio in Clifton New Jersey. "This is not easy for the band but we are looking to fill the spot ASAP. It's not an easy shoe to fill. There is no bad blood and this isn't on bad terms. We wish Charlie the best of luck in whatever he decides to do from this point on." March 28, 2011 - Press Release After six months in production, New Jersey based Will Killmore have officially announced a release date for their self titled full length album. “Will Killmore," Produced by guitarist Steve Toth and Will Killmore, is scheduled for a worldwide release April 12th 2011. This comes one year after the completion of the band’s freshman EP “Oh the Humanity.” "Our goal for this record was simple; Great production, compelling song structures, and pure intensity. The songs on the new album have to stand the test of time and speak for themselves. Needless to say the last six months have taken its toll on us all. I’m just proud it is finished," said Steve Toth, Guitarist/Producer. Tracks like "Natural Born Survivor" and "Hit the Trenches" are a clear indication of how the band’s song writing has matured. While the songs “Rockula” and “Pop Culture Vigilante” are a clear sign that Will Killmore are an established act with one purpose in mind; silence the critics while making kids scream at every show. “There is something for every metal fan on this record. We are out to prove to the critics that the talent in this band is unquestionable while neversaturating each song with filler. Self producing this album was the only choice. People are going to be floored when they hear how much work went into it,” said Charles Corletta, Drums. Without major label support the band have once again manage to produce, release and distribute the self titled album. That is not to say they haven’t had some help. "Although our EP was received very well & tour was killer, we wanted an insider to tell us what we did wrong last time. We needed to hear what we had to do differently for this record,” said James DiGangi, Guitarist. Will Killmore turned to their peers and industry insider Jesse Korman (The Number Twelve Looks Like You) and Kevin Antreassian (JayKay productions). “Jesse was great with directing us towards the later part of the writing process while Kevin’s mixes and mastering are exactly what we’ve been looking to hear over the last two years," said Joe Marini, Vocals. Will Killmore is scheduled for a month long promotional tour starting with their CD release show April 16th at the legendary Olives in Nyack, New York. “The crowd at Olives has always treated us right. Last years CD release show was sold out to capacity with everyone singing the lyrics to songs that had been leaked for only a few days. From what I gather, bands like Coheed and Cambria celebrated their first major release at Olives, so for WKM it is a great honor to do this place justice by playing a great set,” said Brian Daniell, Bass.
